Ponder
There is something very masculine in what I do every day. To
sit and train for a job that is currently male dominant is very liberating. I
thank God every day that I have the strength to keep doing what I do and what I
had to do to get here. I think what makes a person who they are is how they
take life when it comes to them with full force. Believing that there’s more to
life than what you think is on your plate, actually trying to envision pass on
what you think the limit of your ability is. I find it very rewarding to find
myself in the position I am in now, even if I’m still in school. Sometimes I
have this incredible urge to break some kind of invisible straight jacket that
prevents me from going to places that I have no idea where. That’s what I guess
drives my ability to stay humble (to a point where I end up looking like a snob
because I don’t know how to react to a compliment).
